Thanks for stopping by my about page! I have always had been drawn to photography and the arts for as long as I can remember. I often had a disposable camera on me before I was able to afford a DSLR, and in grade school I was often scolded for drawing on myself and my desk with those super cool gel pens. My family didn’t let me have the TV clicker during TV time at my house because I liked watching the commercials.
In 2013 I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor Degree in Photography and a Minor in Business, I moved to Detroit Michigan in the fall of 2013 with my now husband. I worked independently, offering interior and architectural photography services for real estate agents and small business owners. In 2014 I felt a strong pull toward the world of Graphic Design, this seemed like a natural way for me to apply my love for art & design to an avenue for growing my career and broadening my horizons. In 2016 I graduated from Washtenaw Community College with an Associate Degree in Graphic Design and Media Arts.
Over the years I have enjoyed working with a number of fortune 500 companies such as Quicken Loans, ABB - Robot Systems, and Ernst & Young as well as some big name auto companies such as Ford and Honda. In 2017 I worked for an in-house design agency while living in Chicago, and in 2018 my husband and I moved to Colorado to feed our sense of adventure.
While living in Colorado I enjoyed working with a number of different companies across many different industries, including home decor & retail, real estate, engineering and technology, client services, and finance. I have designed large format graphics and signs for trade show booths, created Social Media & animated marketing campaigns. I’ve completed re-brands and brand development projects, web design, as well as product photography and image editing projects. I am always looking to learn new things and to continue sharpening my existing skill sets.
